The Disastrous Exchange

Ceritasakti.comFrom the exact moment the magical blood pact was agreed upon, a brilliant miracle occurred in the ancient forest.

As the magical blood left his body, the majestic, giant Mosquito King instantly shrank down, becoming an incredibly tiny, fragile bug. Meanwhile, the tiny Human who received the magical blood instantly transformed into a massive, towering, and powerful giant!

The Human cheered with absolute joy as he received this extraordinary "gift" from his best friend.

He immediately started to enjoy all the wonderful benefits of his brand-new giant body. He could now easily climb the tallest coconut trees without ever having to ask the Giraffe for help. He could also milk the Cow all by himself using his massive, strong hands.

Armed with his giant body, the Human felt completely invincible. He thought he could do anything in the world without ever needing to rely on the Mosquito King or any of his other animal friends again.

The Complaints of the Forest

Unfortunately, this newfound independence slowly planted a terrible seed of arrogance and greed inside the Human's heart.

He began to act incredibly selfishly. Without showing any mercy, he milked the poor Cow constantly until the poor animal was completely exhausted. Crying, the Cow went to complain to the tiny Mosquito King.

Not long after that, the Sheep arrived at the King's garden with a very disappointed, sad face. Every single piece of thick, warm wool on his body had been forcefully shaved off by the greedy Human to make massive blankets, warm giant sweaters, hats, and bags!

Hearing this endless string of sad complaints from his loyal animal citizens, the Mosquito King's heart grew incredibly anxious.

He never expected that changing his best friend's physical size would completely destroy the peace of the forest. A deep, heavy regret gnawed at his soul because he had agreed to lend his magical blood.

By the second day, the chaos around the palace had only grown worse. All the animals begged the Mosquito King to punish the Human immediately.

With his usual wisdom, the tiny King tried to calm them down. "O my dear people, please do not worry so much. He is still my best friend. Tomorrow marks exactly three days. The time limit will be up, and I will simply ask him to return my magical blood."

Breaking the Magical Blood Pact

The next morning, right on the third day, the tiny Mosquito King flew all around the forest, desperately searching for the Human. He fully intended to collect the promise they had agreed upon.

However, from the early morning until the sun began to set in the west, his giant best friend was nowhere to be seen.

Confused, the Mosquito King asked the tall Giraffe for help. With a sad look, the Giraffe pointed toward the very edge of the deep jungle.

"The Human is over there, Your Majesty," the Giraffe sighed. "He is riding on the poor Cow's back and whipping her harshly so she will plow the hard, rocky soil for him."

Hearing this terrible news, the Mosquito King's heart completely shattered. Without wasting another second, he quickly flew toward the jungle.

When he finally arrived, a heartbreaking scene unfolded right before his tiny eyes. The exhausted Cow was being forced to plow the heavy dirt, panting heavily. Meanwhile, the Human was just sitting lazily under a shady tree, drinking sweet coconut water, and occasionally shouting loud, cruel orders.

The Eternal Curse

The angry Mosquito King immediately flew right up to the Human's giant face.

"O my friend!" the King buzzed loudly. "The three-day limit is completely over. Now is the time for you to return the magical blood I lent you!"

But instead of keeping his important promise, the Human simply turned his face away. He pretended he did not hear his King speaking at all, and he arrogantly prepared to walk away!

A massive wave of disappointment exploded inside the Mosquito King's chest. He flew even closer, buzzing right into his former best friend's ear hole.

"It is completely impossible that you cannot hear me! Hey, Human! Do not break your own promise! Return my blood immediately!" the tiny King shouted over and over again.

However, the Human continued to act completely deaf.

The Mosquito King finally lost all his patience. He landed directly on the Human's cheek and bit down hard, fully intending to forcefully take his own magical blood back!

Feeling annoyed by the buzzing sound and the tiny bite, the Human roughly swung his giant hand. Smack!

The tiny body of the Mosquito King was thrown backward, hitting a leaf so hard he almost fainted. He bravely got back up, repeatedly attacking the Human's ears and cheeks to suck his blood back. But every single time, the Human selfishly slapped him and chased him away.

Severely injured and with a heart filled with the deepest disappointment, the Mosquito King finally backed away. Hovering weakly in the air, he cast a powerful, echoing curse upon his former best friend.

"O greedy Human! Listen very carefully to my words! From this day forward, all of my descendants and grandchildren will continuously hunt you down! We will always come to collect your promise and take our magical blood back from your bodies!"

After shouting that terrible curse, the tiny Mosquito King flew away and disappeared into the dark jungle, leaving the Human alone with his terrible arrogance.

And that is exactly why, even until this very day, mosquitoes and all their tiny descendants will always come buzzing around human ears, constantly biting our skin to suck their magical blood back!
