The Terrified Goat
The Crocodile quickly swam down the river, hiding perfectly near the grassy watering hole. Sure enough, just as the duck had promised, a large, fluffy goat trotted down to the edge of the water to take a refreshing drink.
The Crocodile waited patiently until the goat bent its head down. SNAPP! The predator lunged violently, biting down on the goat's back leg.
The goat bleated loudly, struggling with all his might to escape the terrifying grip.
"Do not bother fighting," the Crocodile laughed coldly. "You are my lunch today, and you are going to taste absolutely wonderful."
Trembling in fear, the goat quickly thought of a clever trick. "Oh, King of the River! You are making a huge mistake! I might look big, but it is all an illusion. I am covered in thick wool, but underneath, I am incredibly skinny and tough to chew."
"I do not care. I am starving!" the Crocodile roared, pulling the goat closer to the water.
"But wait!" the goat cried out. "If you eat me, you will miss out on the ultimate feast! Just a few miles up the river, near the grand waterfall, there is a massive, muscular young bull. He is ten times bigger than I am, and his meat is incredibly tender and sweet!"
The Ultimate Prize
The Crocodile completely froze. His greedy mind instantly began calculating. A young bull would be a glorious feast, enough to keep his stomach completely full for an entire week.
Blinded by his endless greed, the Crocodile slowly opened his jaws and released the goat's bleeding leg.
"Run away, you skinny bag of bones!" the Crocodile sneered. "I am going to catch the ultimate prize!"
The goat did not hesitate for a single second. He sprinted away into the thick bushes, incredibly grateful to be alive. Meanwhile, the Crocodile swam upstream with massive, powerful strokes, his mouth watering at the thought of the giant bull.
