A Peaceful Morning by the Lake

Ceritasakti.com - On a beautiful morning by the edge of a stunning lake, lived a peaceful flock of storks. They lived happily and never lacked food because of the abundance of fish swimming in the clear water.

Furthermore, the breathtaking scenery made them feel incredibly comfortable living there. One day, the stork family received a visit from a dear friend who lived near the ocean, the Seagull.

The storks happily welcomed him with immense joy. However, the Seagull looked extremely gloomy and sad.

A Friend in Despair

Seeing his friend's sorrow, the Stork gently asked, "Oh, my dear friend Seagull, what is the matter? Why have you come with such a sorrowful face?"

The Seagull sighed and replied, "My kind-hearted friend, will you please help me? Our home has been severely polluted."

"The fish are dying, and the water smells so terrible that we have lost both our home and our food. We are so confused about where to go, as we can only live around the ocean," he explained.

"How unfortunate your fate is, dear Seagull. I will gladly help you. Tomorrow morning, I will find out exactly why this tragedy has happened," the Stork promised. "Thank you, my true friend," replied the Seagull.

The Stork's Investigation

The next morning, the Stork set off on a journey to find out what was causing the fish to die in the Seagull's habitat.

Along the way, the Stork saw many humans recklessly throwing trash everywhere—in the gutters and directly into the rivers.

He also saw some of them burning piles of plastic waste, causing the surrounding air to become filled with thick, toxic smoke. This forced the birds flying nearby to scatter away because they could not stand the horrible pollution.

"I feel so sorry for the birds living in this area. They have been deeply disturbed by this thick smoke in the air," the Stork muttered to himself.

The Dark Truth of the Factory

The Stork's journey continued, and this time, he saw a massive, towering building releasing pitch-black smoke into the sky.

There was a small river flowing nearby, completely filled with toxic factory waste, and that dark stream was flowing directly into the vast ocean.

"Oh... so this is what killed the fish in my friend's home. It turns out that wastewater and factory pollution are poisoning them," the Stork grumbled. "I feel so sorry for you, Seagull."

A New Home by the Lake

Finally, the Stork flew back to the beautiful lake where he belonged. He shared his heartbreaking experience with his friend.

"My dear Seagull, your home has been severely polluted by human waste and factory chemicals thrown recklessly into nature. Please, stay here and live with us," the Stork offered warmly.

"Thank you so much, my friend. You are incredibly kind-hearted," the Seagull replied with tears of gratitude.

From that day on, the Stork and the Seagull lived side by side, sharing their food peacefully. They lived happily together in their clean and beautiful lake.

The Moral of the Story
